Aboyne Golf Club

This long-established golf club, plays over an 18-hole course which blends into the rolling countryside to the north of the Deeside village of Aboyne, offering an especially warm welcome to visitors. The course provides a fine test for golfers of all abilities. It presents a rich variety of memorable holes making the most of the natural variations in the terrain which is a mix of rolling parkland with inviting fairways and elevated links-like heathland with tighter targets. Mature trees and water are in play on many holes, with the Loch of Aboyne being a notable feature. The course lies on a free-draining soil and enjoys a surprisingly dry micro-climate. It is exceptionally well-maintained and shows little, if any, of the usual signs of the passage of golfers.

Braemar Golf Club

Braemar is the highest 18 hole golf course in Britain at around 1,200 feet above sea level.

The greens are amongst the finest in the area and the course is very popular with holiday makers and golfing societies. The course is relatively short, measuring 4,935 off the medal tees, but it will test golfers of any standard.  Braemar Golf Club was founded in March 1902, during the latter part of the golfing boom in Scotland. Initially a nine hole course was created and over the years this was developed into the wonderful eighteen hole course and clubhouse with full facilities. We hope you will be able to enjoy a game of golf and the facilities at Braemar.

Tarland Golf Club

This beautifully maintained 9-hole parkland course designed by Tom Morris in 1908 represents a challenge to golfers of all abilities. With a standard scratch score of 68 for men (71 for ladies) the 5900 yard layout provides many a test and the beautiful, tranquil setting and dramatic scenery combine to give you a day to remember. The course and its surroundings are famous locally for the rich variety of wildlife and one is frequently rewarded with the sight of soaring buzzards or deer crossing the fairways, so golf is not the only pleasure of a round at Tarland.
